Overview

LRL Labs builds and operates software products for Apple platforms and the web. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, and what choices are available when you use an LRL Labs product or contact us.

Some products may include product-specific privacy notes. When a product-specific note is more detailed than this policy, that note applies to the product it describes.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, support request details, account questions, privacy requests, and other information included in messages you send to us.

When you use an LRL Labs website, app, or software product, technical information may be processed automatically, including device type, browser, app version, diagnostics, crash information, approximate region, usage events, and security-relevant metadata.

Apps and Apple platforms

If LRL Labs distributes an app through Apple platforms, the app may process information needed to provide its features, support account or purchase flows, maintain reliability, and meet App Store or developer-program requirements.

Apple may separately process information through the App Store, TestFlight, in-app purchases, subscriptions, crash reporting, or device-level privacy controls. Those Apple-controlled flows are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy disclosures.

How we use information

• Respond to support, privacy, account, and App Store review questions.
• Build, operate, secure, debug, and improve LRL Labs apps, websites, and software products.
• Measure reliability, product quality, and feature usage where appropriate.
• Comply with legal, tax, security, platform, and App Store obligations.

Providers

LRL Labs may use trusted providers for hosting, diagnostics, analytics, payment processing, email, security, and platform operations. These providers may process information only as needed to help us run LRL Labs products.

Data retention

LRL Labs keeps information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, tax, accounting, platform, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Your choices

• You can contact LRL Labs to request access, correction, or deletion of information where applicable law gives you those rights.
• You can use device, browser, and Apple privacy settings to limit permissions, tracking, notifications, diagnostics, and other platform-controlled data flows.
• You can choose not to send support information, although that may limit our ability to respond.

Security

LRL Labs uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the size and nature of the business. No internet-connected product can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Children's privacy

LRL Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to LRL Labs, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Policy updates

LRL Labs may update this Privacy Policy as products, legal requirements, or platform requirements change. The current effective date is shown at the top of this page.
